I've been thinking about animeboston...
Since I'm not going to be having a car, it's a bit more tricky.
It's going to be about $110 to ride the train/bus round trip, (a MTA/greyhound combination)
who knows what for hotel &
the hotel will have to have shuttle service or public transport to the convention hall or else I'll be paying the big bucks to attend a convention
This is the most straightforward plan I have the time/energy to explore right now..
I'm kind of running on a hectic schedule so it's unclear when I'll have time to explore other options, like renting a car, zipcar, borrowing yeahgirl's car... who the hell knows.
But the facts are still certain:
1. I do not have a table there (financial risk of attending this convention is high)
2. The convention happens one week after the end of the spring semester (prep time is limited)
Ugh.. why am I even thinking about going? I'm going to be busy with searching for a job / classwork for this...
Paintings has to wait!
I'm seriously so stressed out that I'm even reconsidering things I've already decided against.
fortunately it's only a couple hours away from where I live so it will be easy to drop off a couple paintings on a friday and then pick them back up on sunday, all whilst sleeping in my own bed each night. 8) so no big deal if I don't get a table. Would be nice though!
Now if I could just find the time to work on some stuff...
what new paintings are you planning btw?

Not that my painting conditions are perfect anyway.. I'm in my room, so I'm cramped, it's winter so it's dark, I keep ruining sweaters because it's too cold to paint without any... but the big thing is I'm not home half the week, and when I am home I'm bogged down with homework and housework or just don't have the energy to accomplish anything.
I'm sorry your working conditions are so poor
