You know I think when they say Japanese anime/manga they are just talking about the style and I think they mostly mean all styles that reflect Asian animation and comics. It is mostly to stop people from posting anything in that category, like Nickalonian stuff and the like. Hell, I'm Britsh/Irish and learned the style back in the 80s and hate it when people either think I'm Japanese or that I'm following this new trend so I can partly understand how you feel. I think you should place your works where you feel it should go and not based on what this sites says.
Anyways, keep up the great work.
