I was thinking about Kingdom Come, illustrated by Alex Ross. If there was one person I could be for a day and die happy I think it would be Ross. The man sure can paint.
The way he paints people in the book is absolutely stunning. The image of his Wonderwoman is totally stuck in my head. I think a little bit of that idea shows in Mars' face.
Come to think of it, there's also an X-(wo)man who has power over fire, although her thing was mostly oooo spoooooky mind powers.
I drew this for the weekly challenge of #cute-ee . When I think "woman" and "fire" all that comes to mind is Sailor Moon and her posse of girlfriends.

f.lux changed the screen temperature, and it struck me that this drawing needs more yellow so that it feels hotter. So, I guess... thanks,
