The oekaki gallery from 2002 is not online anymore.

* I just remembered why there aren't a lot of colored stuff left from 2003: I had a hard drive failure. I was still drawing some oekaki drawings at that time, but I can't find them because...

* It became increasingly difficult for me to draw the way I drew after I moved out of Korea, because I was no longer exposed to the cartoons I liked to see. Instead, there was stuff like Angel and The Simpsons... not as visually interesting or intense :/
Time-to-time I jokingly wonder how much more differently I would be drawing if I stayed in Korea. I think I would probably be drawing way better (and probably more Hyung Tae Kim like) because my survival would probably depend on it.

I used to draw out of desperation, but now I don't know why I draw.
I tried not drawing much of anything for a while years ago, and it was ok, except I had so few life skills outside of drawing that.. well, it was a pretty bland lifestyle.
But drawing doesn't produce that intense feeling of reward anymore either.
I want to see the future.

Also I am still mad that all of my pre-1997 drawings were thrown away.
