When I got tired of carving stamped out circles for the three stack pot, I threw cups. These are some cups with very very thin lips and sorta heavy bottoms.
Even after I trimmed them I made sure the bottom stayed a little heavy. (they are not trimmed in the photograph)
I like it when my cups and mugs are slightly heavy on the bottom because it prevents them from tipping if they get knocked on the side or top while in use. Big wide feet do that too, but I guess I just want the extra weight as insurance.
