This used to be titled "Lumen and Rosa".
But while I was drawing it, I had a different idea for it.
It has been a while, so I think it may be OK to release that story idea.

I had this story idea while I was drawing this that these two girls are actually the offspring of aliens. They were engineered to look like people, but they have alien genes inside, but as a result of being engineered to be human-compatible, they don't have cool alien powers, such as communicating with their minds or being able to move stuff with their minds.

But they wern't created just to be cute, but to save the aliens from extinction because their genetic diversity has become extremely limited, like when people marry cousins or siblings and then their kids marry siblings and so on.

So they were created and given a mission to find a suitable human male to procreate with to create an alien-human hybrid offspring that could then be used to promote genetic diversity within the alien species so that they could save their race from extinction, and possibly to become compatible with the environment of earth.

But of course because they look like people on the outside, they waver on that mission (it's not like they asked for that mission. They were biologically engineered to be compatible and then told to do as they're told) and wonder what it would be like to live on earth as a human.

Oh yeah and they are sometimes bombarded by messages in their mind from the aliens.

So yeah, that's as far as I pondered and then I finished the drawing. haha!
